All our products have been developed with clinicians and prescribers in mind to allow easy use and set up within the community equipment service. Designed to meet a wide range of clinical needs whilst offering long-term value in their ability to adjust and recycle.
For more than 50 years, ROHO has dedicated its efforts to the research, engineering, and manufacturing of air-cell based cushions with a patented design called DRY FLOATATION® technology. It mimics the properties of water and ensures an individual’s body is immersed and enveloped to give outstanding pressure distribution.
We provide nationwide visits to offer the opportunity to trial a range of ROHO cushions and overlays. During these visits, we collaborate closely with prescribers and clinicians to deliver tailored solutions that best meet the individual needs of each service user.
The design of the MOSAIC cushion allows the user to sink comfortably into it, shaping to the unique contours of the body. Available in an expanded range of sizes to better fit the seating surface, MOSAIC provides basic preventative skin and soft tissue protection at an affordable price.
The contoured design positions the pelvis back in the wheelchair, and centers the individual comfortably in the middle of cushion. The ISOFLO Memory Control unit locks air into each of the four compartments, providing stability by minimizing side-to-side and front to back motion.
The cellular design and the soft pliable material allow the individual to be immersed into the cushion for maximum pressure redistribution, while decreasing friction and shear. The simple adjustment allows the cushions to fit the shape of the individual, minimizing tissue deformation and maximizing blood flow.
The self-contained air cells in the ADAPTOR Pad can be used as an interface on virtually any flat or contoured surface to protect skin and soft tissues. Especially useful when cut to fit various surface shapes such as sides of wheelchairs, trays, head and footrests, inside of helmets, or for any surfaces that may need protection.
ROHO cushions have been used within community equipment services across the UK for many years. Benefiting from a 50-year legacy, the cushion's tried and tested design provides community equipment services and commissioners with the confidence to issue it consistently. Its ability to be recycled and reused multiple times further enhances cost savings for each cushion within the service.
These savings are evident in our existing contracts, where we have been able to pass on significant cost reductions to community equipment services. For more information, please speak to a member of our team.
One of the key features that makes ROHO cushions unique within community equipment services is their seamless integration with third-party products, including seating for rise and recline chairs, as well as complex postural seating. This compatibility allows for enhanced pressure injury prevention and management without compromising the functionality of the primary seating system.
