Clinical Considerations

The following should be taken into account when considering which type of PAD is suitable for a user:

• Propelling on challenging surfaces
• Carrying out daily activities such as door negotiation and wheelies
• The environment PAD will be used in – home, school, work, travel
• Whether the user needs to carry items on their lap
• Transportation of the device in a vehicle
• How well the user can independently manage and use the device
